With
a staff of over 700 hundred employees located at more than
25 locations throughout San Bernardino and Riverside counties,
Arrowhead Credit Union chose CU Training to expand our offering
of courses and manage the individual needs of a diverse employee
base. Our training needs range from employees new to the credit
union industry to seasoned employees seeking personal development,
increased job skills and future advancement. Mileage expense
and travel time alone accounted for a sizeable portion of
the training budget.
In
addition, we are making a concerted effort to thoroughly educate
employees in regulations and compliance issues. The compliance
training and assessments offered by CU Training will provide
current legal updates in a manner all employees can conveniently
access and for which, they can be held accountable.
TLC,
the Leaning Management System offered by CU Training will
allow our Training department to effectively provide, schedule
and manage training for the individuals, while allowing the
employee to take responsibility for their learning.
For
the past decade our training has been primarily confined to
the classroom and outside seminars. After thoroughly researching
several on-line training systems, we determined CU Training,
Inc. best met our needs in customization and delivery capabilities,
knowledge retention assessments and individual learning plans.
The support offered by their staff was invaluable as we had
many requests for demonstrations, from the perspectives of the
front-end user to the Information Systems department. We are
looking forward to implementing the system, effectively advancing
our delivery of learning.
